Sekhmet, is a revered ancient Goddess from Kemet (now known as Egypt). Sekhem; power or might. Ancient people of Kemet, knew that we had a Sekhem body, a body of power. Sekhmet, represented as a female figure with a Lioness head, was the Goddess of Power.
Power is in this sense, the heat of a ray of light. When the power body turns on, the body of consciousness has vitality, to exude Sekhem.
Sekhmet, the courageous patron Goddess of healing, was known to have a remedy for every illness.
The courage of the Lioness as a spirit, is a facet of consciousness that remains in the unknown until needed. This is the thing about Solar energy. The Sun rises and the Sun sets. However the power of the Sun when it has risen, will shine so that everything can grow.
The Sun is a shield. A shield of the Stars. When the Stars shine upon you, you shine as a Star. You are grounded, so deeply that your expansion and freedom radiates with courage.
When your Sun is activated, nothing can stop you. Fears are not something to be afraid of. The Sun’s activation teaches you how to overcome challenges. Conflict resolution, forgiveness and most importantly, compassion through kindness.
Kindness, charitable action and patience, is found through worthiness. Low self-esteem blocks these qualities within us. It’s when we have a sense of power, we are not intimidated by challenges and we are very adept in overcoming conflict in all ways.
The shield of the Sun teaches you how to stay grounded now matter what storm may arise. The darkness is not something to be afraid of. The Sun teaches that it’s the bravery of a Warrior that is able to shine in the darkness.
This is Sekhmet. Evil trembles when her bravery shines. No one can refute the light of the Sun or take it away.
